Michael A. Golwitzer
Brother Michael A. Golwitzer has preached in the
Genesee County area since retiring from the US Army.
Michael A. Golwitzer was born in Flint, Michigan, to Bernard W. Golwitzer and Dorothy I. Golwitzer.
He was graduated from Flushing High School, Flushing, Michigan(1974); Memphis School of Preaching
(1980); Central Texas College,(AA), Kileen, Texas; Retired from the United States Army (1997);
University of Michigan, (BA) (2002).
Michael married Vivian R. Jones on November 30, 1976.
They have two children, Anna N. Golwitzer and Michael A. Golwitzer II, wife Melissa. Three grandchildren; Michael A. Golwitzer III., Caleb Wayne Golwitzer, and Katelynn Ranae Golwitzer.
He delivered his first sermon while attending the Central Kentucky School of Preaching (1976). During twenty-one years of service in
the US Army he found opportunities to preach part-time
wherever he was stationed. He was able to live and
travel in the Bible lands. Brother Golwitzer
has preached in Tennessee; Arkansas; Kentucky;
Georgia; Athens, Greece; Virginia; Chakmakli,
Turkey; and Michigan.
Brother Golwitzer is a Desert Storm Veteran. He is a life member of the Disabled American
Veterans (DAV) and was a Chaplain for DAV, Chapter 3 in Burton, Michigan for six years.
He is currently the Chaplain for VFW Post #2777, Burton, MI.
