HOW WELL HAS THE DEVIL DONE AS A PREACHER?
2 Cor. 11:13-15

I. INTRODUCTION:

  1. The devil is a preacher you know?

  2. He is the oldest of preachers. He began in Gen. 3:1-24; Gen. 2:17

  3. He preached that God's Word did not mean what it said. Added: "not."

  4. He deceived Eve. 1 Tim. 2:11-14; 2 Cor. 11:1-3

  5. He is a lying preacher. John 8:44

II. ONE HEARS AND FOLLOWS SATAN BY HEARING AND FOLLOWING HIS TEACHERS:

  1. Just as we hear Jesus Christ by hearing His messengers. Luke 10:16; Mark 16:15-16

  2. Satan has his ministers and many doctrines. 1 im. 4:1-4

  3. His preachrs are human beings - no longer serpents - by doctrines of devils"

  4. He is called by many names: Lucifer, Dragon, Serpent, devil, and Satan. Rev. 12:8-9

III. MEN ARE PREACHING LIKE THE DEVIL, WHO NOW PREACHES AS FOLLOWS:

  1. "He that belieth and is not baptized..." Bible: Mark 16:15

  2. "repent and be not baptized..." Bible: Acts 2:38 (They are preaching like the devil Gen. 3)

  3. "you are saved by faith only..." James 2:14-24; Heb. 5:8-9

  4. Men of faith only are children of the devil. John 8:30-32, 44; John 3:5

  5. Preachers who endorse sin such as Gal. 5:19-21; Rom. 8:13.

  6. Who preach in favor of dancing, social drinking, etc. is a devil's preacher.

  7. Who endorse immodesty. (Tolerate, avoid, practice is a devil's preacher. 1 Tim. 2:9-11; Deut. 22:5.

  8. Those who endorse stingy fiving, and lie about it. Acts 5:1-5

  9. Lucifer was cast out of heaven Isa. 14:12

  10. The devil will come among the sons of God doing his preaching. Job 1:6.
