"IF A MAN DIE, SHALL HE LIVE AGAIN?"
1 Thess. 4:13-18

Job. 14:14 ask this old question. Death remains a mystery for man. So the Bible is the only source of information.

Death is a separation. James 2:26. "For the body without the spirit...the spirit returne to God who gave it." Eccl. 12:7 For in Adam all but in Christ all made a live. 1 Cor. 15:22 Spuregon said: "Death is the waiting room where we robe for immortality." Ezekiel 13:20
II. PRAYER FOR THE BEREAVED

Our God is heaven, the God of all mercies, full of grace and truth; ever comfort us by the tender assurance of your love. We know that you chasen those you love. be near us in the hour of sorrow, as we come to cast our cares upon thee and to seek strength and consolation that only you can impart.

As a father ptieth his children, so do thou pity those who set before you. When we are smitten and afflicted we know that thou doest care. Give we pray strength to the family in their time of loss. May thy Word comfort them in this hour. Ever remind us that we too must pay this debt one day, and to meet the appointment with thee our Father in heaven. Father please give us strength to obey thy will in all things.
Eccl. 9:5 O God author of light and life and truth, inspire our soulswith hope through the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We know you have imparted your all sufficent to be saved through our Lord Jesus Christ. bless and comfort our wonded spirits. O Lord despise not our broken hearts. O God have mercy upon us and attend to our humble request, and do for us the the things that are best. We humbly beseech Thee in Jesus name. Amen.

III. DEATH IS A STAGE IN HUMAN PROGRESS
Death is to be passed as we would pass from childhood to youth, or from youth to manhood, and with the same consciousness of an everlasting nature. Phil. 3:20-21
Death, there is the hourly possibility of it.
Death is the sublimity of life.
