RICHES AND HONOR

God promises riches and honor and much more.

But before honor goeth humility: Prov. 15:33.

Mac Davis in his song. Its hard to be humble. = is a very true statement. He got better looking every day and treasured his own company and couldn't wait to look in the mirror.

II. NEW FEAR OF THE LORD IS THE BEGINNING

III. DURABLE RICHES AND RIGHTEOUSNESS

IV. RICHES ARE RELATIVE
There are those that maketh hhimself rich, yet hath nothing; there is he that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches. Prov. 13:7

When we are true Christians we are the richest people in all the world.
V. SOME THINGS BETTER THAN RICHES.
Good name is better... Prov. 22:1
Good name is better than precious ointment.
Compared. "A gracious women retaineth honor; and a strong man retaineth riches. Prov. 11:16
A man's pride will bring him low; but honor will uphold the humble in spirit. Prov. 29:23
VI. MOSES MADE A GREAT CHOICE, WILL YOU?
He refused to be called the son of Pharoph's daughter. He chose greater riches for he looked ahead. Heb. 11:23-29
This is the offer Christ will give them that obey Him. Heb. 5:8-9; Matt. 19:16-30.
